President of the Management Board - Dariusz Orłowski
He is a graduate of the University of Economics in Kraków, the Faculty of Organization and Management from which he graduated in 1995.
In 1994 he started working for PKO BP Regional Branch Office in Krakow at the Team for Difficult Loans.
From 1995 to 1998 he was employed by F.H. KrakChemia SA, where he occupied the following positions: starting from a Financial Expert, through the Financial Department Manager, the Deputy Chief Accountant, the Financial Director to finish as the General Director.
At the same time from 1995 to 1997 he was acting as a Vice President of the Management Board of a subsidiary leasing company of F.H. KrakChemia SA. Next he was employed by Gellwe company as the Financial Director. Since 1999-07-01 he was employed by Wawel SA as the Financial Director.
On 1999-07-15, under the decision of the Supervisory Board of Wawel SA, he was appointed to act as a Member of the Management Board – the Financial Director. On 2000-07-27 the Supervisory Board approved the amendments to the organizational structure of the Company, and subsequently he took over the position of a Member of the Management Board - the Chief Operating Officer.
Since 9th February 2001, following the decision taken by the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders he has been acting as the President of the Management Board at Wawel SA.
Member of the Management Board – Production Director - Wojciech Winkel
He was granted a title of a Food Processing Engineer in 1984.
In 2000 he graduated from Postgraduate Studies - Quality Management in Industry.
At Wawel SA he occupied the following positions:
• from 1984 to 1986 the Production Supervisor,
• from 1987 to 1999 the Production Department Manager,
• in 1999 the Chief Of Production, and then the Production Director.
Moreover, between 1992 and 1994 he was a Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Wawel SA of the 1st term of office.
Apart from working for Wawel SA he was also a Proxy at the company "WIK" Sp. z o.o.
Supervisory Board
Chairman of the Supervisory Board - Hermann Opferkuch
In 1984 he graduated from the studies of economy in Heilbronn receiving a Diploma of Management in 1984 r.
Up to 1990 he was working for a confectionary factory owned by his family. At the same time he underwent some traineeship courses at financial institutions and other confectionary factories.
In 1990 after his father’s death he took over management of the group. The group’s turnovers have been increased almost 5-fold since then.
At present the group of companies, in which Pan H. Opferkuch is one of the main shareholders, includes the companies dealing with producing and selling confectionary products and with selling and processing cocoa seeds (including Hosta International AG seated in Münchenstein, Switzerland), however the activities of the aforementioned companies are not competitive against Wawel SA.
Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board - Eugeniusz Małek
In 1982 he earned all credits at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University.
From 1986 to 1996 he was employed by Wawel SA and from 1990 to 1996 he was acting as the Technical Procurement Manager. From 1999 to October 2006 he was acting as the Purchase Manager and from Novenber 1, 2006 as the Chief of Development Department.
Between 1992 and 1994 he was the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the first term of office.
Since 1997 he is a Member of the Supervisory Board, whilst within the period of June 1999 to June 2009 he was acting as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board.
Secretary of the Supervisory Board - Paweł Bałaga
He is a master of sciences and an engineer in mechanics, he graduated from the Kaków University of Technology.
From 1988 to 1997 he was working at Wawel SA as the Expert for Investments.
From 1997 to 1998 he was working at Ahold Polska Sp. z o.o. as a Project Manager.
From the mid December 1998 till the middle of 2007 he was working at Hyva Polska Sp. z o.o., where he was acting as the Purchase and Logistics Director. Since 1997 he is a Member of the Supervisory Board.
Member of the Supervisory Board - Nicole Richter
Nicole Richter graduated from a secondary school. At present she is an assistant of the Management Board of Hosta International AG seated in Münchenstein, it is one of the group’s companies in which Mr. Hermann Opferkuch is one of the main shareholders. Earlier she was working for trade companies.
Member of the Supervisory Board - Christoph Kohnlein
He graduated from the studies of business adminstration at the Fachhochschule für Finanzen.
Up to 1982 he was working for the state financial administration of Baden-Württemberg. In 1982 he found his own business as a tax adviser. In 1988 he became an auditor and is still running his own company in this field.

He has completed numerous managerial training programs at the Motorola University in Schaumburg, Illinois and the Management Centre Europe (Brussels and London). He is a laureate of international legal competitions: the Professor Telders Moot Court Competition Rene Cassin in Strasbourg.
