Main prize and distinction in the international Corporate Social Responsibility Awards for the Wawel brand

In the international competition Corporate Social Responsibility Awards 2018 organised by the PR service Daily, the Wawel brand won the main prize in the “Brand Activism” category for its pioneering project “Good Ingredients”. The “Heart Rises” social-consumer campaign deserves a special mention in the “Corporate-Community or Non-profit Partnership” category.

The Wawel brand was recognised twice in the competition. The main prize went to the “Good Ingredients” project – for the innovation that it introduced into its products, depriving them of unnecessary additives, food colourings and artificial flavours, for which the brand was awarded the main prize in the category of “Brand Activism”. The “Corporate-Community or Non-profit Partnership” award also recognises the “Heart Grows” social-consumer campaign, where consumers can help one of the five selected charities participating in the programme by purchasing branded sweets bearing a heart symbol.
