Wawel is the winner of the prestigious “Złoty Paragon 2019 – Nagroda Kupców Polskich” competition

For another year in a row Wawel was distinguished in one of the most important FMCG market events in Poland – the “Złoty Paragon” survey. The brand won the Złoty Paragon (1st place) in the key category, as well as 3 awards. Over 430 products were submitted to the competition in 65 various categories.

The ceremonial Gala has passed, during which awards in the “Złoty Paragon 2019 – Nagroda Kupców Polskich” competition were presented. This year as many as four Wawel products were honoured. Choco & Fruity 280 g was honoured in the “Chocolate Packaged Products” category, taking  first place and the Złoty Paragon. Plain chocolate 70% cocoa 100 g won an award in the “Chocolate bars” category, and the legendary Kasztanki 430 g in the category “Pralines and chocolates”. Another product that won awards, this time in the “Impulse food products” category was last year’s innovation – Dragon Gummies Fruity 100g. The Editorial Board also awarded Special Statuettes. The Wawel brand was appreciated in the “Modern sales forms” category for its unique commercial concept “Freedom of Choice”, which enables the purchase of sweets by weight.

Every year the “Złoty Paragon” poll awards the best FMCG products with the highest sales share on the market. The competition is organised by the publisher of the trade magazine “Hurt i Detal”.
