Wawel products honoured in the FMCG Perły Rynku 2019 competition

The final of the Perły Rynku FMCG 2019 poll organised by Wydawnictwo Gospodarcze is behind us. The Wawel brand was once won awards in the competition. On Tuesday, 11 June, the Renaissance Hotel in Warsaw hosted an awards ceremony for innovations that won the 13th edition of the survey.

In this year’s edition of the Perły Rynku FMCG survey, two Wawel brand products were given awards. The Srebrna Perła FMCG 2019 award (2nd place in the category “Jellies and marshmallows”) was won by Dragon Gummies, while the Brązowa Perła award (3rd place in the category “Sweet Snacks”) was won by the Orzechowy Superkruchy candy.
The “Perły Marketu” survey is a nationwide, independent industry survey, in which retailers indicate the most successful food, cosmetic and household chemistry innovations.

The winners of this year’s edition were selected by 50 experts – members of management boards and purchasing managers from trading companies. For the first time in the history of the project, the jury was joined by representatives of filling station chains, which are involved in retail sales of FMCG products. New products, which this year competed for the Perła Rynku FMCG statuette, were divided into 26 categories.
